Your First Scan
Get up and running with Aulys immediately. Learn how to initiate a scan against any public URL and start improving your accessibility in minutes.
Step-by-step guide
Enter a Target URL
From your Aulys Dashboard, click on New Scan. Enter the public URL of the webpage you wish to test. For your first scan, we recommend choosing your homepage or a primary landing page.
Select WCAG Version & Level
Aulys tests against the latest standards. Select WCAG 2.2 and level AA (the global standard for commercial compliance) from the settings dropdown before starting your scan.
Wait for the Audit (15-30s)
Click Start Scan. Aulys will automatically render the page in a headless browser, executing JavaScript and parsing the DOM exactly as a real user would experience it.
Review the Dashboard
Once completed, you will be redirected to the Scan Results page where you can see your overall compliance score, the number of critical violations found, and actionable remediation advice.
